Do you offer custom design?

Yes we do. We have a goldsmith at both locations with the downtown store focusing more on repairs and our North end store focusing more on custom design. We try to do all jobs in house with very few needing to be done off site, unless it requires equipment that we don’t have.

Nash Jewellers employs a gentleman by the name of Michael Chapman – he is an unbiased 3rd party appraiser who runs his own company called Ontario Gemmological. Michael has been in the business for over 30 years now.

We book on site appointments at Nash’s North location on Wednesdays and Nash’s Downtown location on Thursdays from 10am to 1pm.

The cost for a sit in appointment is $85 for the first item and $65 for each additional ($15 extra fee for pieces that are extremely complicated)

The cost to drop pieces off at either location to have done is $60 for the first piece and $50 for each additional item. (There is an additional fee of $15 for pieces that are extremely complicated).

Do you appraise watches?

The only watch we appraise in house is Rolex. Rolex watches cannot be appraised on the spot as we need to have the case opened up to verify the movement, then sealed and water tested again before we can appraise. The process can be done within a week if brought to Nash's Downtown location. If not, the process will take approximately 10 days.
