London, Ontario 519-663-1110
Bio by Colin Nash, 4th Generation
Husband to Margi for 40 years and father of six sons.
With all the achievements and accomplishments of my father's life, he has given his six boys some enormous shoes to fill.
Dad grew up in London on Wellington Street, attended school at Catholic Central (walked five miles to and from school in the pouring rain and into the wind… both ways somehow).
Dad always enjoyed his athletics, excelling in football in high school as a 1 back and receiver and then moving on to the University of Western Ontario where he played with some of the greats such as Whit Tucker, Peter Martin and Barry Michelson along with many others.
Drafted by Ottawa as a Kicker, his knees unfortunately had a different idea.
Dad taught high school for two years in Toronto, went to Ohio State to do his doctorate, then taught 10 more years at the University of Windsor, University of Waterloo and Western University.
My father met my Mother – whose parents conveniently lived just down the street – at the University of Waterloo teaching none other than sex ed. After a week of courting, Margi’s mother graciously guided him into marriage. They were engaged, married and had six boys before they knew it. The first born a mere 15 months after they were married.
In 1976 Dad hung up the teaching hat and joined the family business working for my Grandfather, John B. Nash. With an incredible 35 year career and still going, Dad continues his passion (in no particular order) for Jewellery, the golf world, his family, the university and of course his community.
I couldn’t be a prouder son.
Position at Nash: Owner
Credentials: Certified Gemologist Appraiser
A Little Bit About Me: After graduating from the University of Western Ontario, I decided to take up the family business. Over the past decade I’ve had the opportunity to travel, live and mine in amazing places like the Yukon Territories, Australia, California, Arizona, Bancroft and more.
I graduated from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and continued to study and receive my Certified Gemologist degree from the American Gem Society (AGS). In 2010 I decided it was time to complete my studies and passed my Certified Gemologist Appraisers exam, the pinnacle of the Gemology world.
Position at Nash: Store Manager
Credentials: Graduate Gemologist
A Little Bit About Me: After working in banking for nine years I decided to change careers, and follow my heart, which led me to a small jewellery store in Victoria, B.C., where I started down the path to becoming a gemologist. In September 2011 my wife and I moved back to London; I joined the Nash family business at the Masonville location and I couldn’t be happier.
Position at Nash: Floor Manager
Credential: Certified Gemologist
Robyn first joined Nashs back in the year 2000 when we opened our first store. She is a graduate of Georgian College and was quick to not only achieve her Certified Gemologist degree from the American Gem Society (AGS), but was also top sales for the first 5 years of the store. Robyn was married and now has 3 wonderful children. She came back to Nashs after a few years off with the family and is now the Floor manager in our new location. 16 years on and off with Nashs and still going. We are lucky to have Robyn back on our team and hoping she stays for a long, long time.
Joining Nash Jewellers in May 2000, Ron brought with him 35 years in Information Technology. After opening the North location and managing it for five years he moved to the downtown location to administer the whole company.
Ron would best be described as the “Operations Guy". In short - he keeps the stores operating. He is always looking to improve the business through automation and business solutions.
Currently working part-time, he is now looking after all the company’s I.T. requirements.
Position at Nash: Diamond Graduate

Position at Nash: Watch Ambassador
Credentials: Diamond Graduate
After graduating from Fanshawe Collage, I worked in the Optical and Eyewear business for five years. Wanting a change, I applied for a position at Nash Jewellers and have been here for two years.
As well as continuing my education and my newly found enthusiasm for Gemology, I have discovered a passion for watches and fine timepieces that I did not know I had. Often spending many hours a day fully distracted by beautiful Tag Heuer timepieces in the store.
Jenna is a Goldsmith graduate from Georgian College. Since graduating, she has had 6 years of experience in the jewellery industry. She has been with Nash’s for the past year, and has a passion for helping customers with special custom pieces.
Jenna is in the process of completing her Gemology Diploma with Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and looking forward to a long career with the Nash family.
Maddie is new to the Nash's Team. She was recruited from Starbucks in the Hyde Park area. Maddie is excited to be in the Jewellery trade and is looking forward to starting her Diamond Graduate courses with the GIA.

Sally is another new member to the Nash team. She started in October and is working on a part time basis. Sally excels with people. She is very social and connected and loves to be in the mix of things. A fantastic addition to an already talented team!
Val is another one of our cherished part time employees. She has been with us since September of 2014 and will be with us for years to come. Her sense of humour and personality raises the level of energy in our store the second she shows up. It may be the Brittish accent that does it, but Val sure has a way of making people smile.
Maggie joined Nashs back in September of 2014. Maggie is another personality that brightens the room when she is in. Maggie is in charge of our Alex & Ani line and is working towards the completion of her Graduate Diamonds degree from GIA. We're hopeful that Maggie will enjoy a long successful career at Nashs and as part of our family.
We have jewelry professionals ready to help.
